Forgive me if this is a shallow question....I accepted Al Islam 8 years ago and I LOVE MY ISLAM!!
OK, so I hear and see this topic all over the web and media.....and it saddens me because I am not a hard-line Muslim, nor do I call other people Kafir and ugly names.
I kno that our beloved Prophet (saw) referred to himself and believers as Muslim. One who declares by mouth and their heart "La Ilaha Ilala, Mohammad Rasooloola" is Muslim.... What saddens and confuses me is the various sects, schools of thought and these Ulima or Sheihks passing 'Fatwa's' on others...as if they are Allah? Thereby aking it confusing and saddening for folks like me that call themselves Muslim.... Not Sunni, Sufi, Hanbali etc.
This and culture, in my opinion stain the purity of a perfect way of life---Islam.

Thanks,

Ali
