I'm also black muslim woman, Somalian ethnicity. I don't see many black muslims guys in this place as well....and I'm not being racist or anything..

The reason I can think of is, Its easier for the new member to adapt to the new family easily. If a person is brought up with certain cultural values, he/she would want to uphold them and pass it on to their kids and this becomes harder with people from different cultures. I am an Indian but my culture is similar to the ones of pakistani, bengali. So even with language barrier we are still able to assimilate easily. I think men will marry any ethnicity or culture because the women ends up the one who has to adapt.

I totally disagree. Where is the equality here. No wonder marriage is hardly happens these days.
