I think the core characteristic of a TRUE muslim is fear in Allah. I don't mean "i dont wanna go to hell" kind of fear. I mean who wants to go to hell! Fear that shows through actions.
Someone who "prays sometimes" and defines themselves as "open minded" because they date and rarely open a quran does not truly fear Allah, although they might claim too.
Anyway, i don't want to make this long as ppl seem to skip the long'ones if you know what i mean
